I once read about an Iranian prophet who said that when someone
believes in Ahuramazda(The Lord),darkness can never approach.
In the Bible,(I'll get the verse later) it was also written,The Light
shineth,and the darkness comprehends it not. So why,why do people
think there are curses flying all over the place.
Buddha said that the true self of a human spirit is reflected in the
environment.Look around,we are PIGS in this country.
Yet,three-quarters of the population sleep in churches or
mosques..claiming to be holy. Fortunately,we can never FOOL Our
Creator.
I had to write this post because i watched penelope,a girl curse with
a snout. The snout vanished the instant she said she liked herself.
I don't believe in curses..i'm rambling too much jare..
It usually isn't the curse that causes problems,it's the power you

I think curses do exist but they may only work for you if you believe them. It's tricky actually, because the Bible says something about those who bless you being blessed and curse you being curse. Your last statement is so true, I agree with it very much

curses are real, but we do have power over them, so i guess it still boils down your light shining over them.

I feel you! Once a minister came to our church and he said he was listening to a radio programme when they were interviewing a 'babalawo' and they asked him how this juju works...he said ' juju would not work on an individual if he does not believe in it...in relation to curses'...I found that statement a revelation. our beliefs are vital i guess...

I love that sentence and I will share it with the world. I don't believe in curses either. I don't get why pple claim the believe in God and that He has power over everything and yet they believe that a human being can do or say something that will affect their destiny.

Someone told me today about a town who worship some certain animal nd believe that they originated from dat animal cos it was a human dat turned into it. When the animal is killed(mistakenly) a funeral ceremony nd if nt, whoever killed it would be cursed. this person also told me she has eaten this certain animal nd cos she believes nothing will happen to her, she had no fears nd all. ita ll bgoes to show dat, it doesnt work if you dont believe in it.

Curses do exist but it is like you say, we give those curses power if we chose to. besides, we are covered by the blood...
I also believe curses exist....But that is where your believe in God's deliverance comes in...
