one of the only persons alive that was glad when it was made necessary
that the Idiots(okada riders)and their kinsmen(Okada riders as well).I
make no apologies for dissing them..
Anyways, today on my way back from Grailland which is at iju hills,we
decided to go through Agege and we were commending the works our
Governor,Babatunde Fashola,when we heard people screaming.It turned
out that one of the Piaggio aka Keke marwa riders that was right
behind us,decided to vie out of the lane. The idiot(because they are
older brothers of okadas),had decided that being held up by the
traffic light for a minute or so was too much to ask.The driver vied
out without looking behind him and knocked down an okada. The Okada in
turn knocked down a man who was standing on the road.
It just brought back awful memories of my accident. The most notable
thing about this silly incident is the fact that both the rider and
the passenger had not strapped on their helmets.
Now,imagine this scenario,the bike falls,rider's hard hat(because
somewhere in the idiot's mind,a helmet and a hard hat are doing the
same thing) falls off, then rider, previously unhurt then hits his head
on the hard hat with a hard force consistent with gravity and the
damages his skull which leads to brain damage.
Summary:Brain damage.
Sometimes,I wonder if it is waste of money training Nigerians. My only
hope is the fact that it worked in Cross River(not Cross Rivers as it
is often mistakenly called) under the Duke dispensation.

Hmmm...Do agree with kafo and Afro...its sad.
@ Roc: it worked there well o, that means there is more hope for the rest of 9ja since it worked in C. River.
@ Kafo: it has been researched o. The percentage of brain damage through bike accidents is high.
@Diva:Na The Lord dey help.
@ Afrobabe:venture near it ke?not at all.
@ Omo calabar:too sad o..
Brain damage? To think about the consequence that would not have been if only a few more dimes was spent on a good helmet and it was used appropriately...so so sad...
